Today’s Video of the Day from the European Space Agency (ESA) features São Miguel, the biggest island in the Portuguese Azores archipelago, from space.
Tourism is very important to the unique Azores islands, and São Miguel is the most popular for its strikingly beautiful attractions, including beaches, waterfalls, and volcanic craters.
